We pastors need find our identity in Christ, and live out that identity in our ministries. We can’t fall into the trap of finding our identity and value in our ministry position, how great our preaching is, our popularity and fame, or how great our church programs are. We need fellow pastors who will remind us of the centrality of the Gospel in our lives and ministries. In this sense, it is vitally important that we reflect on how the gospel and our union with Christ shape our life and ministry.
