Joel R. Beeke (PhD, Westminster Theological Seminary) is president and professor of systematic theology and homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary; a pastor of the Heritage Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan; the editor of Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth; the editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books; the president of Inheritance Publishers; and the vice president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society. He has written over one hundred books. He and his wife Mary have been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.
Jurem Ramos was raised a Catholic, but after high school, he changed his beliefs to Hinduism. In 1981 God opened his eyes to realize his errors and his sinfulness, and to believe in Christ. After his conversion, he was again involved in falsehood with the prosperity gospel and the pragmatic philosophy of ministry. By God’s amazing grace, he came across sound teachers like David Martyn Lloyd-Jones, John MacArthur, and others to find his way to a biblical philosophy of ministry. Though without formal Bible school training, God called him to be the lead pastor of Soli Deo Gloria Church in Davao City since 1996. He has also been the administrator of their school ministry for more than 15 years. His Sunday teachings are heard regularly over several FEBC radio stations through his daily program called the Shepherd’s Call. He and his wife, Ging, have been married for almost 30 years, and they have three children. And last year, he and Ging became the happy Lolo and Lola of their first granddaughter, Avie.
Oscar is husband to Joanne, and father to Ezra Paul (21) and Priscilla Chesed (17). He has been serving as an associate pastor at Higher Rock Christian Church for 16 years. He disciples a cell group of men called Sharper Iron. He is privileged to oversee the church’s children’s Sunday School, and LifeSigns, the church’s ministry to the Deaf. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from the International School of Theology – Asia (now the International Graduate School of Leadership).
AJ serves as associate pastor and biblical counselor of Living Word Christian Church, Cebu. He is a part-time vlogger at All 4 Jesus. He is currently completing his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling at Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Master of Divinity at Cebu Graduate School of Theology. AJ is married to Christine and is a father to Zaza and Z.
Jeff Medders serves on staff at Risen Church and the Risen Collective in Houston, TX. He also hosts The Acts 29 Network Podcast. He is a writer, a preacher, and unashamed coffee snob. He is currently a PhD student on Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. He is married to Natalie and has two beautiful children. Jeff is also the author of the books Gospel Formed: Living a Grace-Addicted, Truth-Filled, Jesus-Exalting Life and Humble Calvinism. Franco Ferrer is a sinner, saved by grace through faith in Christ alone. He is passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ and disciplemaking. He is married to Pauline and father to Calvin John. Together with his family, they are sold-out to make others glad in God by making gospel-centered disciples in the cities of Manila and beyond. Currently, Franco is the pastor of discipleship at International Baptist Church of Manila. He also serves as director of iDISCIPLE Philippines and executive member of Asia Pacific Baptist Youth in Baptist World Alliance. He is a student of Preaching at The Expositor’s Academy and currently taking up Masters of Biblical Counseling at Presbyterian Theological Seminary – College & Advance Studies.
Jonathan Leeman is the editorial director for 9Marks. After doing undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science, Jonathan began his career in journalism where he worked as an editor for an international economics magazine in Washington, D. C. Since his call to ministry, Jonathan has earned a master of divinity and a Ph.D. in theology and worked as an interim pastor.
Today he edits the 9Marks series of books as well as the 9Marks Journal and is the co-host of Pastors Talk. He has written for a number of publications and is the author or editor of a number of books.
Jonathan lives with his wife and four daughters in a suburb of Washington, DC, and serves as an elder at Cheverly Baptist Church. He teaches adjunctively at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Reformed Theological Seminary. John serves as Lead Pastor at Redeemer Christian Church Manila, a new church plant in the city of Manila that grew out of the desire to preach the Gospel clearly to the city. RCCM ministers mostly to college students, a growing group of young professionals, and young adults with new families.
John is married to Kali, and they have been together for over 10 years now. They are both passionate about disciple-making and Gospel-centered ministry, and they both serve in the iDISCIPLE Philippines directional team together. John is currently on leave from seminary, but he plans to eventually finish his program of Master in Divinity in Pastoral Studies.
John also does part-time freelance work writing content for websites, marketing materials, and various online writing jobs.
Grace Bible Church of Conway began 16 years ago with humble beginnings of Pastor Jeff preaching from a music stand in his apartment. Since then, he has become wedded to his lovely wife, Letha, and now has three sons – Martyn, Christian, and Britain – and daughter, Evelyn. Pastor Jeff graduated from Central Baptist College with a B.S. in Bible and earned his M. Rel. in Biblical Studies and a Th. D. in Systematics from Veritas Theological Seminary. He is also the author of The Fatal Flaw of the Theology Behind Infant Baptism, Behind the Bible: Introduction to Textual Criticism, The Church: Why Bother?, The Kingdom of God, and The Absurdity of Unbelief.
Brian Croft has served in pastoral ministry for over twenty-five years and is the founder and Executive Director of Practical Shepherding. He is also the Senior Fellow for the Mathena Center for Church Revitalization at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has written or contributed to over twenty-five books on pastoral ministry. He is the husband of Cara and father of four children, son, Samuel and daughters, Abby, Isabelle, and Claire. He has served in pastoral ministry for over twenty-five years.
Uziel is husband to Charissa and father to Keilah, Twile and Calel. He started his career as A Mechanical Engineer but has been called by God into full time ministry in 2014. He is currently serving One Body Christian Ministries – Sta. Ana as Head Pastor. He is also currently taking his M. Div degree at Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary.
Erwin has been in the pastoral ministry for 16 years already. He is currently the Senior Pastor of Greenhills Christian Fellowship East in Cainta Rizal. He is a graduate of Biblical Studies and Expository Preaching at The Expositor’s Academy a member of The Masters Academy International. He now is on staff at TEA, serving as Associate Instructor teaching Biblical Studies and helping in the Preaching Lab in the Expository Preaching program. He is married to Rita for 15 years and they were blessed with a daughter, Yana who is now 13 years old.
Eric Hernandez has served as the Senior Pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church and Ministries for 25 years now and Administrator of Grace Christian Academy, Bulacan. He also trains seminary students at as Instructor at Brad Collingwood Bible College also in Bulacan.
Eric finished his Bachelor of Theology degree at Brad Collingwood Bible College. He took
further studies in Professional Education at L.D. Woosley Bethany Colleges and also took up Master of Arts in School Administration at Piedmont College of Theology.
He is happily married to Thez. And they have three beautiful and godly daughters named Elaine (31 years old), Erika (24 years old) and Tish (19 years old).
Pauline is a sinner saved by grace through faith in Christ alone. She is passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ and disciplemaking. She is married to Franco and mother to Calvin John. Together with her family, they are sold-out to make others glad in God by making gospel-centered disciples in the cities of Manila and beyond.
Her family serves at International Baptist Church of Manila since 2015. Currently, Pau disciples kids, young women and adults who are thriving in God’s Word and in the gospel. She formerly worked as guidance counselor in the following Christian schools: International Christian Academy, Jubilee Christian Academy, Philippine Christian School of Tomorrow and Spurgeon School Foundation, Inc.
Kali’s desire is to help believers and local churches realize their unending need for Christ and the Gospel in all aspects of life. She has the privilege of seeing this happen through Redeemer Christian Church Manila, a new church plant where her husband, John, serves as pastor. She also serves with John in iDISCIPLE Philippines, as part of its directional team, and also works full time with OMF Literature, selling and marketing Christian resources. Kali is grateful to the Lord for 11 years of being married and doing life together with John. In between these roles, Kali enjoys making and drinking coffee, jumping from one book to another, and casual conversations with friends.
Irish is the wife of Pastor Uziel Idurot and married for eleven years. They have three children named Keilah (7 y/o), Twile (5 y/o) and Calel (3 y/o). She is the Corporate Secretary of One Body Christian Ministries (OBCM) and has been active in the ministry of the church since her youth days. She’s an elementary/ high school teacher for eleven years in Metropolitan Academy of Manila (MAM).
Jodi is the wife of Derick, and the mother of three delightful children – Daniel, Stephen, and Kyrie. She has been a member of Baliwag Bible Christian Church since her youth, where her husband is also serving as a pastor for the last 12 years.
Andrei is currently a PhD student (Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary), Th.M. (Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS), M.Div. (Ukrainian Biblical Seminary). He is the OIC-Ukraine coordinator, assistant director of MA in Biblical Counseling at Kyiv Theological Seminary. Andrei teaches biblical counseling, Old Testament. He also teaches dialogue with Eastern Orthodoxy and wrote a book on this topic. He planted a new church in Kyiv, where he now serves as a co-pastor. Andrei and his wife Olga have three grown up children.
Jerome is the pastor of Muntinlupa Baptist Church since 2017. He is currently discipling the young professionals through book readings, equipping some older men for pastorate, and equipping the church through doctrinal and book studies of the Bible.
Outside of the church, he is leading a bible study to young pastors from South of Metro Manila and helping small churches in equipping. He is also a full-time facilitator at PBTS-SEE program by training men and women called into the ministry. He finished his graduate studies at Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Rod Santos finished his doctorate at Westminster Theological Seminary. His ministry with Campus Crusade for Christ includes teaching at International Graduate School of Leadership. He serves as a volunteer pastor at Greenhills Christian Fellowship – West.
Rod has also published a book, “Turned off by Church: What Hurts People and What Would Heal Them.”
Together with his wife Malou they lead contemplative retreats and counsel the sexually broken. They have been serving in the ministry for 30 years now and blessed with 2 daughters, Charity Grace and Bethel Joy.
Following a career in engineering and business, John Rawlinson joined the Banner of Truth Trust as General Manager in 1999, and oversees the global work of the Trust. For those that know of the Banner of Truth Trust, it will be no surprise to know that John is a lover of church history, theology, and books! He is an elder in a reformed Baptist church near Edinburgh, Scotland and is married with 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
Japhet Indico is currently the lead pastor of Metropolitan Christian Fellowship – Cebu. He feels indebted to the gospel of Christ that saved him and snatched him from his former way of life. He started serving as the Youth Pastor of MCF in 2012, eventually became the church’s Associate Pastor in 2014. In 2017, he was called to become its lead pastor.
Japhet remains grateful for God’s means of grace, the church, that helps him grow in holiness and in truth. He seeks to be faithful in the gospel ministry where God has called him, and by His grace, give all and do all for the glory of Christ and for the good of His people.
Kevin is an engineer, graphics designer & Gospel minister whose ambition is to live a quiet life and to work with his hands. He currently serves as Youth Pastor & Creatives Lead for Joy in Christ Church in Bacoor, Cavite. He also leads the Creatives Team for iDISCIPLE Philippines. He is very blessed to be married to Tricia this 2021.
Tricia serves as Music Lead for Joy in Christ Church in Bacoor, Cavite. She is passionate about discipleship, continuously pointing young people & young adults alike towards the beauty of Christ and His gospel. She is a claims specialist by profession, and also serves as part of the Secretariat for iDISCIPLE Philippines. She is very blessed to be married to Kevin this 2021.
Alvin pastored in the greater Manila for 9 years. He also served as assistant pastor at Redeemer Church in Dubai for 5 years. Currently, he pastors at Crossroads Church of Dubai, a Tagalog-speaking evangelical church situated in Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. And while shepherding in the Middle East, his heart’s desire is for the Philippines to be transformed such that it would be known not only as the place where it’s “more fun” but as a place where the church is thriving, gospel-centered, and healthy. Alvin is happily married to Dianne for 13 years.
David Crim is the Senior Pastor of the International Baptist Church of Manila and the Director of Field Operations for the Two-Thirds World Network. Pastor David and his wife, Cindy, came to the Philippines in January 2011, in answer to God’s call to missions. Having served in a largely Filipino community in Hawaii, the Crims became acquainted with Filipino culture. While leading teams of missions volunteers from Hawaii to the Philippines, the Crims developed a love for the Philippines and her people, and were delighted when they heard God’s call to transfer their ministry of discipleship and leadership training to the Philippine Islands. Their sending body, The Two-Thirds World Network, is a missions organization established to build mission networks and partnerships in developing nations, such as the Philippines.
David and Cindy have been married for 39 years and have served in churches and missions all of their married life. They have two married daughters and four grandchildren in the U.S. The Crims met while attending college at the Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Cindy is an experienced educator, having taught elementary school in the States. After his bachelor’s degree in Oklahoma, David completed a Master of Divinity at the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Besides pastoral ministries, David also worked for seven years as Editor in Chief of Collegiate Resources at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, Tennessee. While Senior Pastor of IBCM, he is also completing a Doctorate of Missiology at the Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary in Penang, Malaysia.
John is a full-time undershepherd of By Faith Fellowship Church South Cities (BFFCSC) which the Lord established by His own power and grace on February 23, 2020. He and his lovely wife, Atty. Kathryn Joy Nuñez, have been married for five years now and are raising two wonderful children, Jeremiah Aquila and Hannah Amarah. He enjoys homeschooling his kids and is devoted to training them to be future followers of Christ. He is completing his Certificate in Expository Preaching at The Expositor’s Academy and hoping to pursue seminary education in the years to come. He is passionate about reading, researching, and eating chilis.
Derick Parfan is happily married to his beautiful wife Jodi (since 2008) and is father to their three amazing children – Marcus Daniel, Stephen Lucas, and Kyrie Elise. He serves as pastor of Baliwag Bible Christian Church in Baliwag, Bulacan since 2009. He is founder and lead teacher of Treasuring Christ PH. The mission of Treasuring Christ PH is to be able to provide gospel-centered leadership and discipleship resources in Taglish (conversational Tagalog) for the Filipino Church. Aside from being addicted to the Gospel, Pastor Derick is also a coffee lover.
