David Crim is the Senior Pastor of the International Baptist Church of Manila and the Director of Field Operations for the Two-Thirds World Network. Pastor David and his wife, Cindy, came to the Philippines in January 2011, in answer to God’s call to missions. Having served in a largely Filipino community in Hawaii, the Crims became acquainted with Filipino culture. While leading teams of missions volunteers from Hawaii to the Philippines, the Crims developed a love for the Philippines and her people and were delighted when they heard God’s call to transfer their ministry of discipleship and leadership training to the Philippine Islands. Their sending body, The Two-Thirds World Network, is a missions organization established to build mission networks and partnerships in developing nations, such as the Philippines.
David and Cindy have been married for 39 years and have served in churches and missions all of their married life. They have two married daughters and four grandchildren in the U.S. The Crims met while attending college at the Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Cindy is an experienced educator, having taught elementary school in the States. After his bachelor’s degree in Oklahoma, David completed a Master of Divinity at the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Besides pastoral ministries, David also worked for seven years as Editor in Chief of Collegiate Resources at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, Tennessee. While Senior Pastor of IBCM, he is also completing a Doctorate of Missiology at the Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary in Penang, Malaysia.
